Stepper motor power stage for 2 phase stepper motors with 5 A(PEAK) 24-70 V(DC) – sin/cos via SPI interface 
Phytron’s APS module is a compact (40 x 60 mm only!) high performance power stage perfected for driving stepper motors up to 5 A(PEAK) with 24 - 70 V(DC) for a shaft output up to 250 Watts. With up to 70 VDC The APS ist also suitable for high rpm, highly inductive and high-resolution stepper motors.The APS can be controlled via pulse and direction signals or digital sin / cos (via SPI). The chopper technology (parameterisable) and high quality low resistance components provide high precision positioning and switching. Featuring optimised timing for minimal heat losses in the motor and power stage and a low resonance driving performance with a real 1/512 step resolution (102,400 positions per revolution with a 200 full step motor and encoder). An evaluation board including free parameterisation and diagnosis software is available.
